My Version of Homemade Cheeze Itz.


This is the second time I've tried my hand at homemade cheeze itz, these were tastier than the first batch. Although I found they didn't keep their "crunch" as long as the first.

You will need:
8 ounces of cheese (I used a block of cheddar, and hand shredded)
1 c all purpose flour
4 tbs butter, softened
4 tbs ice water

I hand mixed the cheese, salt, and butter. Then dumped into my food processor where I added the flour, kneaded, and then added the water a tablespoon at a time until it reached a "doughy" texture. 
Bake in your preheated oven at 375* until puffy and brown on the edges. Make your own cheeze itz with under 5 ingredients, healthy, tasty, easy!
